Ryan Thompson is a relief pitcher with the Tampa Bay Rays. The Turner, Oregon native was selected in the 23rd round of the 2014 MLB Draft by the Houston Astros after playing college baseball at Campbell University.

In 2018, the Tampa Bay Rays selected Ryan in the Rule 5 Draft and two years later, during the Covid pandemic, Ryan made his MLB debut on July 24, 2020 with the Rays.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Ryan Thompson about his testimony of faith in Jesus, understanding that baseball isn't who he is and becoming more intentional about sharing his faith.

Taylor Davis is a college sports reporter who has been with ESPN since 2014. Davis contributes to college football coverage throughout the fall and college gymnastics coverage across ESPN platforms. In 2023, she was part of the inaugural XFL broadcast season on ESPN. 

Davis was a studio and podcast host for the Carolina Panthers (2019-22) as well as a team reporter and digital content host for the Kansas City Royals (2021-22). In addition to her reporter role at ESPN, Davis also serves as a podcast host for the BLEAV Podcast Network.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Taylor Davis about walking away from a comfortable job at ESPN to pursue her dream of being on-air as a reporter. She also shares her testimony of faith in Jesus and why she continues to trust in God's guidance.

Benjamin Watson played 16 seasons in the NFL with the Patriots, Browns, Saints and Ravens. He retired after the 2019 season with 547 career receptions and a Super Bowl championship.  He is currently a college football analyst with the SEC Network and the VP of strategic relationships with the Human Coalition. 

As a speaker and author, Watson has used his NFL platform to share the love of Jesus and speak up on issues including race, abortion and justice. His latest book "The New Fight for Life" releases in June of 2023. 

On today’s podcast, we talk to Watson about his new book, athletes speaking out on difficult subjects and what it means to cultivate conversations on difficult topics like abortion and justice.

Mike Donehey is a singer/songwriter and the former lead man with Tenth Avenue North.

Starring on the soccer team at his high school in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Donehey and two of his teammates were driving to a game one day in September 1998 when his Honda swerved out of control, flipped several times and crashed into a tree. Donehey’s injuries were numerous: a fractured skull, fractured vertebrae, 96 stitches, five days in intensive care, and he was told he would never walk again.

Two months later, Donehey proved the doctors wrong and was up and moving and walking. It was during that time in recovery that he picked up a guitar for the first time and discovered a love for music. That passion has taken him down a road he has remained on for the past 20 years.

In 2019, Donehey released his first book, “Finding God’s Life For My Will,” and in early 2023, he released his second book, "Grace in the Gray."

Today on the podcast, Donehey shares about humanizing professional athletes, disagreeing like Jesus and his love for Tony Romo broadcasting NFL games.

Todd Knight is the head football coach at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He has a career record of 171-131 in his 29 overall seasons as head coach. Knight has led his team to 14 straight winning seasons including six Great American Conference (GAC) championships and five NCAA Division II playoff appearances. 

Today on the podcast, we talk to coach Knight about leading a football program with a foundation in Christ and finding strength in the midst of tragedy after the death of defensive lineman Clark Yarbrough.

Shelby Rogers is a professional tennis player who turned pro in 2010 at the age of 17.  In 2020, Rogers defeated Serena Williams in the Top Seed Open and became only the fouth player ranked outside the top 100 to defeat Serena in a main-draw match. Later that year, she reached the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open and in 2021, she reached the 4th round of the Austrailian Open and the 3rd round of Wimbledon. 

In August of 2022, Rogers reached her highest career ranking of No. 30 on the WTA tour and had three wins over top 10 players including defeating No. 9 ranked Danielle Collins in their French Open second round matchup. 

Today on the podcast, we talk to Shelby about being a follower of Christ on the WTA tour, finding identiy and purpose away from the tennis court and the Bible studies she's a part of with other tennis players.

Justin Simmons is a Pro Bowl safety with the Denver Broncos. Since arriving in the NFL, he has solidified himself as the starting free safety and was rewarded with a four-year contract in March 2021. Last season, he led the NFL in interceptions with six and was named to second-team All-Pro team for the third time in his career.

Matt Holliday played fifteen MLB seasons with the Rockies, A's, Cardinals and Yankees. He made his MLB debut on April 16, 2004 with Colorado and went on to play in seven All-Star Games, three World Series and win a championship with St. Louis in 2011.

Matt and his wife Leslee are the hosts of Sports Spectrum's Table Forty podcast.

Today on the show, we talk to Matt about his son Jackson being selected number one to the Orioles, the reason behind stepping away from the Cardinals hitting coach position and the importance of being around his family and growing in his walk with Jesus.

George Foreman is a former heavyweight champion boxer, successful entrepreneur and pastor of The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Houston, Texas. 

In 1973, Foreman defeated Joe Frazier to capture the world heavyweight boxing championship. After losing the title in 1974 to Muhammad Ali, Foreman became a follower of Christ and walked away from boxing in 1977 to become a pastor. In 1987, he returned to boxing and in November 1994, he defeated Michael Moorer to capture the WBA/IBF heavyweight championship for a second time. At the age of 45, Foreman's victory made him the oldest fighter ever to win a championship. 

George's life is portrayed in the new film "Big George Foreman," releasing in theaters April 28, 2023.

Devin McCourty is a former NFL defensive back who played his entire 13-year career with the Patriots. He was originally selected by New England in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft after a stellar career at Rutgers University. 

McCourty was a part of three Super Bowl championship teams with the Patriots and was named Second Team All-Pro three times. On December 1, 2022, he became the fourth defensive back in NFL history to have 200 starts with a single team. In March 2023, he announced his retirement from pro football. 

Today on the podcast, Devin McCourty shares what went into his retirement decision, seeking God for guidance in making the decision to walk away and his NFL Draft experience back in 2010.

Carnell 'Cadillac' Williams is Auburn's associate head coach and running backs coach. The former NFL running back was hired by Auburn in January of 2019 by then head coach Gus Malzahn and in 2022, after Auburn fired Bryan Hardin, Williams was named their interim head coach. In November, Williams was retained as an assistant by their new head coach, Hugh Freeze. 

As a player, Williams excelled as a running back at Auburn and was selected fifth overall in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft by Tampa Bay. In his rookie season, Williams was named Associated Press NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Cadillac would play six seasons with Tampa and one with the Rams before retiring after seven seasons.

Isaiah Hodgins is a wide receiver with the New York Giants. He was originally selected in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills after a standout career at Oregon State. 

In 2021, Hodgins made his NFL debut with the Bills, but it was in 2022, after being released and picked up by the Giants, that Hodgins showcased his talent. In five starts with New York, Hodgins had 33 receptions, 351 yards and 4 touchdowns to help the Giants to a playoff berth. In their wildcard win over the Vikings, Hodgins had a career-high 8 receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown.

Seth Morrison is the lead guitarist for the band Skillet. He joined the group in 2011 and has shared the stage with many well-known artists such as Disciple, Kutless, Sanctus Real, Tait, Audio Adrenaline, Relient K, TobyMac, Kirk Franklin and many more.

A die-hard sports fan, Morrison pledges his allegiances to the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes.

Mike Clement joined Ole Miss as their hitting coach and their third base coach prior to the 2015 season. In 2022, he was a part of the Rebel's College World Series championship run and helped lead his club to scoring 82 runs over 11 postseason games and never being shut out. They outscored their opponents 82-23 with a postseason scoring margin of +59 and hit 17 home runs during that time.

A former college catcher, Clement played two seasons at Kirkwood Community College (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), helping the Eagles compile a 91-25 record. He finished his college career at Morningside College (Sioux City, Iowa), where he earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education/secondary education in 2002. Following college, the Marshalltown, Iowa, native played professionally for one season with the Canton Coyotes of the Frontier League.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Mike Clement about winning the 2022 College World Series, the lessons he learned in the highs and lows of last season, the importance of humility and seeking God in all circumstances.

Tyler Keele is a former pro baseball player who is currently serving in baseball ministry with UPI. He was selected in the 15th round of the 2016 MLB Amateur Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks after a college career at Morehead State University. 

Keele played three seasons of pro baseball, reaching as high as AAA in 2018. In 2020, he joined Unlimited Potential Inc and is serving pro baseball players as the chaplain with the Tennessee Smokies, the AA affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. 

Today on the podcast, Tyler shares his journey to Jesus, serving in ministry, the death of his father and the incredible story involving a homeless man in Montana that ultimately changed the trajectory of his life.

James Reimer is a goaltender in the NHL with the San Jose Sharks. He was selected 99th overall in the 2006 NHL Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs and four years later, made his NHL debut in 2010 with Toronto. 

Over his 13 year career, Reimer has played with Toronto, Florida, Carolina and San Jose.

Today on the podcast, we talk to James about the tiny Canadian town he grew up in, growing in his faith, being a Christian in the NHL and how he handles success and failure.
