Courtney Delks is a former women's college basketball player at Purdue University where finished eighth on Purdue’s all-time scoring list (1,674). She also finished as the all-time leader in three-pointers made (240) and free-throw percentage (90.6%), and fourth in three-point percentage (39.7%). For her efforts, Courtney was named First Team All-Big Ten and played in four straight NCAA National Tournaments. 

As a player at Oak Hill High School, Courtney led the Golden Eagles to a four-year record of 97-9, including two state championship appearances.She was named 2010 Indiana High School Miss Basketball and Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Courtney about her love for Jesus, using the sport of basketball to point people to the Gospel, being a spiritual leader as a college basketball player and why she started the Compete Training Academy.

Dionne Miller is a sports anchor and reporter with ABC 7 Eyewitness News in Chicago. Since her arrival in October 2014, she has high profile events including the Chicago Cubs 2016 World Series run as well as reporting from the White House when the team met President Obama in 2017. 

Prior to her arrival in Chicago, she served as host for Fox Sports Ohio, primarily covering pre and post- game shows for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2010-12. In addition, she served as college football sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network and had stints in Columbus, Ohio, Billings, Montana and Burlington, Vermont.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Dionne about her journey in broadcasting, trusting in God to guide her steps, covering the Cubs 2016 World Series run and why surrendering to Jesus is her ultimate priority.

Brian Hanni is in his seventh season as the "Voice of the Jayhawks" calling football, men's basketball and baseball in Lawrence, Hanni has long had a passion for inspiring youth and serves many youth-based charities including his own pediatric cancer organization.

Hanni is also an author and his book "Game Maker – A Creative Kid Becomes the Father of Basketball" is his first children’s book and was inspired by time he spent with Dr. Naismith’s grandson, Jim Naismith. 

Today on the podcast, we talk to Brian Hanni about living out his dream job as the broadcast voice of his alma mater. Brian also shares how his faith in Jesus has grown over the years and why his desire to help and serve others stems from his desire to honor God.

Pastor Bill Orris is a high school official, pastor, father and husband. He is currently an associate pastor at Hillcrest Covenant Church in Illinois.  He has a B.A. in Bible & Theology from Wheaton College and a Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has been in full-time pastoral ministry since 1988. 

Besides his role as a pastor, Orris is also a high school basketball and football referee and a high school baseball umpire for the Illinois High School Association. He’s worked three IHSA State Baseball Championships and four State Football Championships.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Pastor Bill about his unique role in ministry and sports and how being a high school referee can be a great place to live out your faith. Orris then discusses the tragedy of losing his son Billy to a tragic motorcycle accident in 2015 and how God has worked and moved in his life ever since.

Sam Acho has played nine seasons in the NFL with the Buccaneers, Bears, Cardinals and Bills. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals after a successful college football career at the University of Texas.

He is now an author and his second book, "Change Starts with You" releases March 7, 2023.

Pro Football Hall of Fame coach Tony Dungy joined us from Super Bowl LVII in Phoenix. 

Coach Dungy is the first African American head coach to ever win a Super Bowl. He also won a Super Bowl as a player in 1978 as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Steve Largent played 14 seasons in the NFL as a wide reciever with the Seattle Seahawks from 1976-1989. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1995 and his number 80 is retired by the Seahawks.  

Steve joins us today to talk about his walk with Jesus, his journey as an NFL player and why he's excited about the new "HE GETS US" Jesus commercials.

Dan Orlovsky covers football as an analyst for ESPN. He appears on various ESPN shows each week, including NFL Liveand Get Up.  He also is a game analyst and has appeared on ESPN's college football coverage as well as Monday Night Football.

Orlovsky is a former NFL quarterback who played 12 years with the Lions, Buccaneers, Texans and Colts. He announced his retirement in 2017 in an article he wrote for Sports Spectrum and joined ESPN in 2018.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Dan about his decision to pray on national television on his show NFL Live, being obedient to God, Tom Brady's retirement and his thoughts on Super Bowl LVII.

Trevor Rosenthal is a professional baseball pitcher who has been in the Major Leagues since 2012. Originally selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 21st round of the 2009 MLB Amateur Draft, Rosenthal made his MLB debut three years later and became a staple in the St. Louis bullpen. 

In 2015 Rosenthal was named the National League All-Star team and finished second in saves in both 2014 and 2015. After going through some difficult seasons and dealing with injuries, he returned in the shortened 2020 season and had 11 saves helping the Padres to a playoff berth.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Trevor Rosenthal about trusting in God over the past five years as his baseball career has seen ups and downs and twists and turns.

Nate Oats has been the head coach of the University of Alabama men’s basketball program since March 2019. He came to Tuscaloosa after five successful years as the head coach at the University of Buffalo. He is a two-time MAC Coach of the Year  and the 2021 SEC Coach of the Year.

On this episode of the podcast, we talk to Coach Oats about how he has dealt with a former player's arrest a few weeks ago on January 15 and trusting in God to guide him through prayer and scripture to lead his team and move forward for the rest of the 2022-23 college basketball season.

Austin Adams is a MLB pitcher who was selected in the 8th round of the 2012 MLB Amateur Draft by the Angels. He was traded to the Nationals and spent three seasons with Washington (2017-19), one with Seattle (2019) and then three with the Padres (2020-2022).

Jim Zorn is a former NFL player and NFL head coach who was the first ever starting quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks in their expansion season of 1976. Zorn would remain the starter for the next 7 seasons and finished his Seahawks career in 1984. After a few more seasons, he was finished with football after the 1987 season and then turned his attention to coaching. 

In 2001, Zorn returned to the team he played with for so many years and was the quarterback coach for the Seahawks. In 2005, his team won the NFC championship and went on to Super Bowl XL against the Steelers. Zorn had a stint as an NFL head coach in 2008 and 2009 with Washington. 

Today on the podcast, we talk to Jim Zorn about his NFL playing career, living his faith out each day, the comparisons of coaching and playing as a Christian and his desire to finish well as he approaches 70 years old in 2023.

Angela Stanford is a professional golfer on the LPGA Tour. Since turning pro in 2000, she has had eight professional wins including seven on the LPGA Tour. In 2018, she won the Evian Championship and achieved her dream of winning her first LPGA Major championship. 

A standout golfer in college at TCU, Stanford was a four-time All-American with the Horned Frogs and the 1999 WAC player of the year. She has also been a member six U.S. Solheim Cup teams and was recently named assistant U.S. captain of the 203 Solheim Cup team. 

Today on the podcast, we talk to Angela about her golf career, winning that first LPGA Major, what it means to live out her faith on the LPGA tour and why she wanted to honor her mom by starting the Angela Stanford Foundation.

Tommy Edman is an infielder with the St. Louis Cardinals. After a stellar college career at Stanford, Edman was selected in the sixth round of the 2016 MLB Amateur Draft by St. Louis and made his MLB debut a few years later in 2019.

In 2021, Edman won a Gold Glove for his defensive effort at second base. In 2022, he hit .265 with 13 home runs, 57 RBIs, 31 doubles, and 32 stolen bases.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Edman about his journey with Christ, the impact teammates in St. Louis have had on his faith, being a switch-hitter and how he approaches the highs and lows of a long MLB season.

Bobby Evans was the San Francisco Giants General Manager from 2016-2018. He first joined the Giants organization in 1994 and spent 24 years total with San Francisco's front office. During his time there, he was a member of three World Series championship teams in 2010, 2012 and 2014.
