Josh Manson is a defenseman Colorado Avalanche. He was a member of the 2021-22 Stanley Cup champion Avalanche team that beat Tampa in six games. Manson was a key contributor for the team, including scoring a goal in Game 2 and setting up the eventual game winning goal in the Game 6 clincher. On July 13, Manson agreed to a new four-year contract to return to Colorado.

Josh’s father, Dave Manson, was a first-round pick and played in the NHL from 1986-2002.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Josh Manson about being traded mid-season to Colorado, winning the Stanley Cup, the pressure of playoff hockey, the experience of the championship parade in Denver, staying connected to God during the playoff run and preparing for the birth of his second daughter.

Matt Stinchcomb is currently a college football analyst for the SEC Network and ESPN. Prior to his broadcasting journey, Stinchcomb was a professional football player. He was selected 18th overall in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the Raiders. He would play four seasons in Oakland and then two with Tampa Bay before injuries ended his playing career at the age of 29. 

In college, Stinchcomb was a standout offensive lineman at the University of Georgia, where he was named First-team All-American in back-to-back seasons in 1997 and 1998. In 2018, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Matt about his surprising broadcasting career, watching Georgia win the National Championship, the shortened NFL career that ended with injuries and finding his identity and trust in Jesus Christ to guide his life.

Jamie Whitmore is a two-time Paralympian (2020, 2016) as a road cyclist and track cyclist. In 2016 at the Rio Paralymics, she won a gold medal (road race) and silver (track pursuit). She also competed in 2021 at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics where she placed 7th in road race and 8th in individual pursuit.

As a World Championship participant, Whitmore has taken home 20 medals including 11 gold medals (2013, 2015, 2017). She was inducted into the XTERRA Hall of Fame in 2012 and won the ESPY Award for Best Female Athletes with a Disability in 2014. In 2008, Jamie overcame a cancer battle and became a mom to twin boys.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Jamie Whitmore about her faith, the trials she's had to overcome, competing in the Paralympics, the gratitude she has and the importance of Jesus as her Lord.

Megan Gustafson is a basketball player in the WNBA with the Phoenix Mercury. She was selected in the second round of the 2019 WNBA Draft by Dallas and played the 2019 and 2020 season with the Wings. In 2021, she spent time with the Washington Mystics and moved to Phoenix in May 2022. 

In college, Gustafson achieved a lot of success at the University of Iowa. In her senior year, she won the Naismith Player of the Year award in women's college basketball and was also named AP Player of the Year and Big Ten Player of the Year. Her number 10 was retired by Iowa in 2020. 

Today on the podcast, we talk to Megan about her journey of basketball, how she handled fame and praise, and the importance of staying grounded in her walk with Christ.

Troy Walters is currently the wide receivers coach with the Cincinnati Bengals. In 2021, he helped rookie receiver Ja'Marr Chase break many NFL records and was a part of a team that won the AFC championship and played in Super Bowl LVI.

In college, Walters was a standout receiver at Stanford and in his senior season of 1999, he was named first-team All-American and won the Fred Biletnikoff Award as college football's outstanding receiver. He would go on to be a fifth round selection of the Minnesota Vikings and play eight NFL seasons with the Vikings, Colts, Cardinals and Lions.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Troy Walters about the 2021 Bengals run to the Super Bowl, finding the positive in the midst of a tough season-ending loss, seeing coaching as a calling and how he's grown in his relationship with Jesus during his football playing and coaching career.

Chantel McCabe is a media personality who covers the sport of golf for SiriusXM, PGA Tour Live and ESPN. She has previously worked with The Golf Channel as an anchor and reporter on-site at PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour events, NCAA golf events, World Long Drive event and with Fox Sports Carolinas covering the Carolina Hurricanes NHL franchise as the network’s pre-game show host and rink-side reporter, where she also served as producer. 

McCabe’s broadcasting career began in college at the University of New Hampshire with New England Sports Network (NESN) as an on-air and online reporter.

Today on the podcast, Chantel McCabe talks about her media career covering golf, losing and regaining her faith, the importance of intentional prayer, covering the Masters and finding new purpose in her job.

Jonathan Isaac is a professional basketball in the NBA with the Orlando Magic. He was selected 6th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft our of Florida State, where he excelled in his one season with the Seminoles.

In 2019-20, Jonathan had a breakout season averaging 11.9 pts, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game but it was 2 injuries to his knee that shortened his season and has caused him to miss the entire 2020-21 and 2021-22 NBA seasons. Jonathan is also an author and his new book "Why I Stand" released in May 2022.

Today on the podcast, we welcome Jonathan Isaac back to the podcast to discuss his decision to stand during the National Anthem in the 2020 NBA bubble, the ramifications from that decision, why he wants to simply point to Jesus in all that he does and how his injury has given him a new perspective on the game of basketball.

Dustin Hopkins is an NFL kicker with the Los Angeles Chargers. He was originally selected in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills after a standout career in college at Florida State where he set a Division One FBS record in 2012  for career points by a kicker with 442 points and was named an All-American.

After coming to the NFL, Dustin played in 2013 with Buffalo but after an injury, was released by the Bills, signed with the Saints to their practice squad but found a home in Washington in 2015 and spent six seasons with the Commanders until his surprise release in 2021. After being picked up by the Chargers, Hopkins had a great finish to last year and signed a three-year contract extension to remain in Los Angeles.

Today on the podcast, we talk about his faith in Jesus, getting released by Washington 2021, trusting in God's plan, lessons from his former coach Bobby Bowden and the importance of praying in all aspects of his life.

Alex Demczak is a former SEC quarterback for the Missouri Tigers. He graduated with a degree in Communication and a minor in Business and used his time at Missouri to catapult him into writing books and speaking. 

He is the author of Thrive U and his latest book, "The Sale" released earlier this year. Alex is also a top keynote speaker and trainer for the Jon Gordon Companies. He frequently delivers keynotes and conducts training programs based on The Power of Positive Leadership and The Power of a Positive Team with the goal of helping leaders transform their teams and change the world.

Lance Berkman played 15 seasons in the major leagues (1999-2013), where he was named to six All-Star Games and won a World Series in 2011 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He was recently hired as the head baseball coach at Houston Baptist University.

Today, we talk to Lance about his new role as a baseball coach, why he decided to say yes to Houston Baptist, the role he has as a dad, and why his faith in Jesus remains the central focus of his life.

Josh Wells is an offensive lineman with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He went undrafted in 2014 after a successful college career at James Madison and immediately signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He spent five seasons with the Jaguars from 2014-2018 and then after being released, signed with Tampa in 2019.

In 2021, Wells was a part of the Buccaneers championship team that won Super Bowl LV, 31-9 over the Kansas City Chiefs. In 2022, he signed a one-year deal to return to Tampa.

Today on the podcast, we talked to Josh Wells about returning to Tampa in 2022, winning the Super Bowl in 2020, being a teammate of Tom Brady, how his faith became real to him, finding his true identity and the growth that he has made as a follower of Christ.

Ryan George has traveled to all seven continents and both polar circles. An adrenaline junkie, Ryan is a certified wingwalker, a bungee jumping enthusiast, and a via ferrata connoisseur. He has surfed in the Arctic, ice climbed on three continents, and paraglided in seven countries. He co-leads Dude Group, a spiritual adventure community. 

George's latest book “Scared to LIFE: Tales of a Good God who Reveals His Heart When Ours is Racing" was released in 2021 and depicts his journey of faith and his life of adventure. 

On today's podcast, we talk to Ryan about some of the incredible adventures he's been on including bungee jumping and wing walking on an airplane. George also talks about his faith, surrendering to Christ at age 27,  and his amazing adoption story.

Bobby Magallanes is the assistant hitting coach with the Atlanta Braves. As a player, he was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 50th round of the 1989 MLB Amateur Draft and played several seasons in the minors before moving to play professionally in the Mexican League.

In 2002, he began his career as a coach and spent several seasons in the minor leagues coaching in the Angels, White Sox and Guardians organizations before moving to the Braves in 2019. After spending the Covid 2020 season as a minor league assistant hitting coordinator, Bobby finally made it to the major leagues in 2021 and was named as the assisting hitting coach with the Atlanta Braves. In his first season in 2021, he was part of a World Series championship team as the Braves beat the Astros in 6 games. 

Today on the podcast, we talk to Bobby Magallanes about his long and winding baseball journey, staying the course of faith and never failing to trust God when things don't seem to be going the way he would want. He also looks back at the amazing 2021 MLB season and the emotions of making it to the majors and winning a World Series championship.

Don Beebe is a former NFL wide receiver who played nine seasons with the Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers. He was a member of six Super Bowl teams and won his only Super Bowl with the Packers in 1996. 

He is currently the head football coach at Aurora University, where he led the Spartans to two Division III playoff berths in 2019 and 2021. 

Today on the podcast, Don Beebe shares about the lessons he's learned from the "Leon Lett Play" in Super Bowl XXVII as well as the importance of his faith in Jesus Christ and how it guides him now as a college football coach.

Horacio Ramirez was selected in the fifth round of the 1997 MLB Amateur Draft by the Atlanta Braves and made his MLB debut on April 2, 2003 with Atlanta. His career saw him pitch with the Braves, Royals, Mariners, White Sox and the Angels. He last pitched in a major league game in September 2011. 

A big part of Ramirez's  journey has been serving, and he’s currently involved with Water Mission, a Christian engineering ministry that fights the global water crisis. He recently took a trip to Mexico and visiting several areas where Water Mission is serving.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Horacio Ramirez about his faith in Jesus fueling him to serve with Water Mission, lessons learned on the mound from teammates John Smoltz and Greg Maddux, and his new hobby of collecting baseball cards.

Dr. Myron Rolle is a former NFL safety, Rhodes Scholar and neurosurgery resident and Global Neurosurgery Fellow at Harvard-Massachusetts General Hospital. He starred in college at Florida State and was selected in the 6th round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans. He played three seasons of pro football with Tennessee and the Pittsburgh Steelers. 

In college with the Seminoles, Rolle was the 2006 ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year and was named to the Associated Press All-America Third Team in 2008. Besides his work in medicine as a doctor, Rolle also is the founder and chairman of the Myron L. Rolle Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of global health, wellness and education. 

His new book, "The 2% Way" released May 17, 2022 and is available now. 

On the podcast today, Dr. Rolle shares about how the 2% way originated from his coach at Florida State, why he believes faith and medicine co-exist, his work in the pandemic and the importance of giving back and serving others.

Leah Church is a former college basketball player with the University of North Carolina. As a Tar Heel, she was played three seasons on full scholarship and majored in exercise and sport science with a concentration in sport administration. 

During her three year career with UNC, she was a prolific three-point shooter making 95 from the behind the arc at a 39% clip and excelled from the free throw line making 89% of her shots. After her junior season, Church decided to walk away from the basketball team and her college career to focus on her faith and stance for Christ. 

Today on the podcast, we talk to Leah about her basketball journey, achieving the dream of playing for UNC, taking a stance for Jesus and why she felt compelled to walk away from college basketball.

Bobby Jones played thirteen professional basketball seasons with the Denver Nuggets in the ABA from 1974-1978 and the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA from 1978-1986. He was selected fifth overall in the 1974 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets after a stellar college career playing for Hall of Famer Dean Smith at North Carolina. 

After arriving to Philadelphia in a trade with Denver, Jones thrived as a member of the 76ers being named the NBA"s All-Star Game four times and winning an NBA championship in 1983. His biggest contribution on the court was on the defensive end, where he was named to the NBA's All Defensive First Team eight times between 1977-1984. 

In 1986, Jones retired from the NBA and a few months later, his number 24 was retired by Philadelphia. 33 years later, he was inducted in the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts in 2019.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Bobby Jones about his professional basketball career, his favorite memories of playing with Dr. J Julius Erving and against Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. We also hear from Jones about his faith in Jesus and why he felt compelled to start one of the NBA's first ever chapel services.
