Matt Eberflus is the head coach of the Chicago Bears. On January 17, 2022, he was named the 17th head coach of the Bears after serving with the Indianapolis Colts as their defensive coordinator from 2018-2021. 

Eberflus has been a staple in the college and professional coaching ranks since graduating from the University of Toledo in 1992. His coaching stops have included the University of Missouri, Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys. 

Today on the podcast, we sit down with coach Eberflus in person to discuss his testimony of faith in Jesus, what "leading like Christ" looks like and the importance of discipleship as a coach.

Alec Ingold is a fullback with the Miami Dolphins. He went undrafted in 2019 coming out of college at Wisconsin and the only true fullback invited to the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine. He signed with the Raiders and played three seasons there before coming to Miami in 2022. 

Ingold is also an author and arlier this year, Alec released his first book "The 7 Crucibles: An Inspirational Game Plan for Overcoming Adversity in your Life." 

Today on the podcast, we talk to Alec Ingold about how he went from being a high school QB to an NFL fullback, why adversity is opportunity and the importance of prayer and inviting God into his life.

Luke Freshwater is a former college baseball player at Cedarville University. He's also served as a forest firefighter in Idaho and as an Army bomb squad leader in the war in Afghanistan.

Luke is dedicated to the pursuit of intentional fatherhood while positively impacting the lives of fatherless children. His new children's book, "BRYSON THE BRAVE BISON" releases June 27.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Luke about his time as a baseball player in college, the lessons learned from attending Cedarville, how his time in the Army helped him grow closer to God and his desire to help children from fatherless homes.

Maddy Siegrist is a rookie forward with the Dallas Wings in the WNBA. In college, Siegrist excelled at Villanova as a two-time Big East Player of the Year in 2022, and 2023 and being named First Team All-Big East four times. In 2022-23, she was named First Team All-American after averaging 29.2 pts, 9.2 rebs and leading her club to the Sweet Sixteen.

After becoming the Big East's All-Time leading scorer (men or women) with 1,693 points scored, she was selected third overall by the Dallas Wings in the 2023 WNBA Draft.

David Carr is a college wrestler at Iowa State. He is a four-time All-American (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023) and in 2021, was an NCAA champion (157 lbs). In 2022, he placed third overall (157 lbs) and in 2023, finished as the NCAA runner-up (165 lbs).

The four-time Big 12 champion was one of the nation's top recruits out of high school after he was a 5-time state champion at Perry High. His dad, Nate Carr, was a Cyclone wrestling legend and served as David's coach in high school.

Jerome Tang is the head men's basketball coach at Kansas State. He joined the Wildcats in March 2022 and in his first season, led was named Naismith College Coach of the Year after leading his club to 26 wins and an Elite Eight appearance. 

Prior to joining Kansas State, Tang spent 20 years as an assistant coach under head coach Scott Drew from 2003-2022, where he won a national championship in 2021. Before college, he was the head coach of Heritage Christian Academy in Cleveland, Texas from 1993-2003.

Cade Klubnik is a quarterback with the Clemson University football program. In his freshman season of 2022, Klubnik  was named ACC Championship Game MVP after completing 20-of-24 passes for 279 yards and 2 TD (pass, rush) in helping Clemson defeat North Carolina 39-10. 

In high school, Klubnik excelled, leading Westlake high school win Austin, TX to three straight state championships. As a senior, he was named the All-American Bowl Player of the Year, the MaxPreps Player of the Year and was the Gatorade High School Football Player of the Year for the state of Texas.

Parker Keckeisen is a college wrestler with the University of Northern Iowa. In 2023, he finished with a 26-2 record and second place overall at the NCAA Championships (184). One of the best college wrestlers in the country, Keckeisen is a three-time All-American, a three-time Big 12 champion and in 2022, had a third place finish overall in the NCAA Championships (184). 

In high school, Keckeisen was a two-time Wisconsin high school state champion and also was a team captain for his high school football team.

Joni Taylor is the women's head basketball coach at Texas A&M. In high school, she was the 1997 Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Mississippi and played college basketball at Alabama from 1997-2001. 

After her playing career was over, she turned to coaching and had stops at Troy, Louisiana Tech, Alabama, LSU and Georgia as assistants before being named head coach at Georgia in 2015. During her time with the Bulldogs, she led them to the NCAA Tournament four times and won 20 games in four of her seven seasons. On March 23, 2022, she was announced as the new head coach for Texas A&M.

Michelle Moultrie is a professional softball player and a member of the 2020 USA Olympic softball team. She played college softball at the University of Florida and in 2012 was named SEC Player of the Year. She was named Third-Team All-American her junior year and First-Team All-American her senior year in helping the Gators to three Women's College World Series appearances in her four seasons. In 2022, she was inducted into the Florida Gators Hall of Fame. 

She became a member of the USA Women's National Softball Team in 2011 and a decade later, was a member of the 2020 silver medal-winning USA Olympic softball team (played in 2021). Currently, Michelle is a part of the OKC Spark softball team that will begin play June 15th as part of the Women's Professional Fastpitch League.

Mike Burton is a fullback in the NFL with the Denver Broncos. He came to the NFL as a fifth round selection by the Detroit Lions in 2015 after a successful college career at Rutgers. After two seasons with the Lions, Burton would spend the next four seasons with Chicago, New Orleans and Washington.

In 2021, he signed with Kansas City and last season, he played in Super Bowl LVII and won a championship with the Chiefs. In March of 2023, he signed a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos.

Golden Tate is a former NFL wide receiver who played 11 professional seasons with the Seahawks, Lions, Eagles and Giants. He was selected by Seattle in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft and three years later, was a Super Bowl champion. 

In 2014, he signed a free agent deal with the Lions, where he played five seasons before being traded to Philadelphia. He ended his career playing his final two seasons with the New York Giants.

Ryan Thompson is a relief pitcher with the Tampa Bay Rays. The Turner, Oregon native was selected in the 23rd round of the 2014 MLB Draft by the Houston Astros after playing college baseball at Campbell University.

In 2018, the Tampa Bay Rays selected Ryan in the Rule 5 Draft and two years later, during the Covid pandemic, Ryan made his MLB debut on July 24, 2020 with the Rays.

Taylor Davis is a college sports reporter who has been with ESPN since 2014. Davis contributes to college football coverage throughout the fall and college gymnastics coverage across ESPN platforms. In 2023, she was part of the inaugural XFL broadcast season on ESPN. 

Davis was a studio and podcast host for the Carolina Panthers (2019-22) as well as a team reporter and digital content host for the Kansas City Royals (2021-22). In addition to her reporter role at ESPN, Davis also serves as a podcast host for the BLEAV Podcast Network.

Benjamin Watson played 16 seasons in the NFL with the Patriots, Browns, Saints and Ravens. He retired after the 2019 season with 547 career receptions and a Super Bowl championship.  He is currently a college football analyst with the SEC Network and the VP of strategic relationships with the Human Coalition. 

As a speaker and author, Watson has used his NFL platform to share the love of Jesus and speak up on issues including race, abortion and justice. His latest book "The New Fight for Life" releases in June of 2023.

Mike Donehey is a singer/songwriter and the former lead man with Tenth Avenue North.

Starring on the soccer team at his high school in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Donehey and two of his teammates were driving to a game one day in September 1998 when his Honda swerved out of control, flipped several times and crashed into a tree. Donehey’s injuries were numerous: a fractured skull, fractured vertebrae, 96 stitches, five days in intensive care, and he was told he would never walk again.

Two months later, Donehey proved the doctors wrong and was up and moving and walking. It was during that time in recovery that he picked up a guitar for the first time and discovered a love for music. That passion has taken him down a road he has remained on for the past 20 years.

In 2019, Donehey released his first book, “Finding God’s Life For My Will,” and in early 2023, he released his second book, "Grace in the Gray."

Today on the podcast, Donehey shares about humanizing professional athletes, disagreeing like Jesus and his love for Tony Romo broadcasting NFL games.
