Jonathan Isaac is a professional basketball in the NBA with the Orlando Magic. He was selected 6th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft our of Florida State, where he excelled in his one season with the Seminoles.

In 2019-20, Jonathan had a breakout season averaging 11.9 pts, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game but it was 2 injuries to his knee that shortened his season and has caused him to miss the entire 2020-21 and 2021-22 NBA seasons. Jonathan is also an author and his new book "Why I Stand" released in May 2022.

Today on the podcast, we welcome Jonathan Isaac back to the podcast to discuss his decision to stand during the National Anthem in the 2020 NBA bubble, the ramifications from that decision, why he wants to simply point to Jesus in all that he does and how his injury has given him a new perspective on the game of basketball.
