Mir McLean is a women's basketball player at the University of Virginia. She excelled in high school at Roland Park Country School in Baltimore, Maryland and signed to play her college basketball at the University of Connecticut where she helped her team to the Final Four in 2021. After being grated a waiver of immediate eligibility by the NCAA, McLean transferred to Virginia and played in 11 games in 2021-22.

In 2022-23, she ranked third in the ACC with 9.6 rebounds per game and was named to the All-ACC Academic Team. Her season ended in January against NC State when she suffered a knee injury.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Mir McLean about overcoming injuries, trusting in God to give her patience, her summer 2023 overseas trip to Morocco, learning Arabic and her excitement in returning to the basketball court.
