Jeff Hostetler is a former professional football QB who played in the NFL from 1984-1998 with the Giants, Raiders and Redskins. He is a two-time Super Bowl champion, most famously known for his 1990 season where he took over for Phil Simms late in the season and helped New York to their second championship in Super Bowl XXV beating the Bills 20-19 in one of the most dramatic Super Bowls ever.

In college, Hostetler began his career at Penn State and then transferred to West Virginia where he excelled and helped his team to 18 wins in two years as their starting quarterback. In 1998, he was inducted into the West Virginia Sports Hall of Fame.

Jesse Iwuji is a Navy Reserves officer and former college football player who currently competes part time driving the No. 34 Chevrolet Camaro for Jesse Iwuji Motorsports on NASCAR's Xfinity Series. 

Iin college, Jesse played free safety for the United States Naval Academy and is currently serving as an officer in the Navy Reserves. In August 2020, Jesse made his NASCAR Xfinity series debut and a year later, partnered with Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith to start an Xfinity Series team - Jesse Iwuji Motorsports. 

Today on the podcast, we talk to Jesse about being the only driver currently in all of NASCAR that is also serving his country as a US Military member. We also dive deep into Jesse's faith and why the Bible applies to all of us and the prayer book that his mom had when he was a kid.

Ryan Saunders is an assistant coach with the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. In 2022-23, he helped lead the Nuggets to their first ever NBA championship. Prior to arriving in Denver, Saunders was the head basketball coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves from 2018-2021. At age 33, he was the youngest coach in the NBA during his hiring with Minnesota. 

He began his NBA coaching journey in 2009 with the Washington Wizards at the age of 23 and spent 6 seasons there before moving to Minnesota to be an assistant coach under his father, Flip Saunders. 

Today on the podcast, we talk to Ryan Saunders about the experience of winning an NBA title, his journey of faith, lessons learned from his father, misconceptions on failure, his unique relationship with Kevin Garnett and how he defines success.

Matt Overton is a free agent NFL long snapper. He first came into the league in 2012 with the Indianapolis Colts and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2013. After the 2016 season, Overton departed for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has also had stints with the Seattle Seahawks, L.A. Chargers, Tennessee Titans, L.A. Rams and in 2022 with the Dallas Cowboys.

Matt joins the podcast today for a special in person conversation to talk about embracing the motto of staying ready, his football future, his love for collecting baseball cards and growing in his faith with a community of athletes.

Rich Maloney is the head baseball coach at Ball State University. In 2023, he led his team to a Mid-American conference championship and reached the NCAA Regionals. As a player, Maloney was selected in the 13th round of the 1986 MLB Amateur Draft by the Atlanta Braves and played six seasons in the Braves organization before retiring after reaching AA in 1991. 

Maloney began his head coaching career at Ball State from 1996-2001 and then went to Michigan to coach the Wolverines from 2003-2012. In 2013, he returned to Ball State, where he remains as a coach today. He is a four-time Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year and has 954 career wins as a head coach.

Donne Shell played 14 seasons in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1974-1987. He went undrafted after playing college football at South Carolina State and in his rookie season with the Steelers, won the first of four Super Bowls in the 1970's. 

During his playing career, he was a three-time First Team All-Pro safety and was selected to five Pro Bowls. After retirement, Donnie waited 33 years until his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2020. 

Today on the podcast, we talk to Donnie Shell about winning four Super Bowls, his relationship with Tony Dungy, growing in his faith and using his Hall of Fame speech as a way to glorify God.

Storm Davis is a former MLB pitcher who played 12 seasons with the Orioles, Padres, A's, Royals, and Tigers. He made his MLB debut at the age of 20 with the Orioles in April of 1982 and one year later, was a pitching in the World Series against the Phillies and helping Baltimore to a championship. He would pitch in two more World Series and helped Oakland to a championship in 1989. 

After retiring from baseball following the 1994 season, Davis went into coaching both at the professional and amateur levels and current serves as a baseball coach with Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville.

Bear Rinehart is the lead singer with the GRAMMY nominated, multi-platinum rock band NEEDTOBREATHE. In college, Rinehart starred at wide receiver with Furman University from 1999-2002. He won the 2002 Banks McFadden trophy for South Carolina football player of the year.

NEEDTOBREATHE's new album CAVES releases Friday September 15, 2023 and they begin a tour across the U.S.A. in October.

Mike Furrey is the head coach at Limestone University in Gaffney, South Carolina. Previously he was the Chicago Bears Wide Receiver's coach from 2018-2021.

In college, Mike starred at Northern Iowa from 1996-1999 and joined the Indianapolis Colts after going undrafted in 2000. After a few seasons in the XFL, Furrey made the Rams roster and played both offense and defense as a converted free safety. He had four interceptions in 2005 with the Rams. In 2006, he signed with the Lions, switched back to wide receiver and excelled with 98 receptions, 1,086 yards and six touchdowns. He would play three more seasons with Detroit before finishing his career in 2009 with the Browns.

Marcus Cannon played for 11 years in the NFL with the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans. He was selected in the 5th round of the 2011 NFL Draft after playing college football at Texas Christian University.

During his 10 seasons with New England, Cannon was a member of three Super Bowl championship teams in 2014, 2016 and 2018. In 2016, he was named second-team All-Pro.

Roger Powell Jr. was named the head coach of Valparaiso University's men's basketball program on April 7, 2023. Previously, he served as an assistant coach with Gonzaga University under coach Mark Few from 2019-2023 and with Vanderbilt from 2016-2019.

He played collegiately at the University of Illinois and was a part of three Big Ten titles and three Sweet Sixteen berths. In his senior season, he helped the Illini to a 37-2 record and a berth in the national championship game against North Carolina.

Terrell Fletcher played eight seasons in the NFL with the Chargers from 1995-2002. He was selected in the second round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the Chargers after a stellar college career at the University of Wisconsin.

During his senior year with the Badgers, he rushed for 1,476 yards and 12 touchdowns and was named the 1995 Hall of Fame Outback Bowl MVP. After retirement, Fletcher went to seminary and spent more than a decade serving as a pastor in California.

Dave DesRochers is a former NFL offensive lineman with the Seattle Seahawks. He was selected in the 12th round of the 1988 NFL Draft by Seattle after playing college football at San Diego State.

Ben Hartsock played 10 years in the NFL as a tight end with the Colts, Titans, Falcons, Jets and Panthers. He was selected in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft by Indianapolis after a stellar career at Ohio State, where he helped the Buckeyes to the 2002 national championship. 

After retiring from the NFL, Ben pursued broadcasting and is currently a college football commentator with SiriusXM on College Sports channel 84 and Big 10 Radio channel 372.
